Tipi Hired for Party – Jaggsfest

If you are planning a tipi event then this article will give you an idea of the possibilities. Whether you are considering hiring a tipi for a party, or tipi hire for a wedding then this will inspire you.

A few weeks ago, we provided the tipi hire for Jaggsfest in Warwickshire. It was held on a beautiful autumn night in September. We set the tipi up in a triangular formation with the dancefloor and stage in the rear tipi. To provide a large entrance way we lifted the front face of the tipi so not only could the guests enter and exit the tipi easily they could also sit outside and still feel part of the event.

Outside the tipi was a firepit giving a space for the guests to mingle under the stars. A ring of bales were placed around the firepit to provide somewhere for the guests to sit. Alternatives to bales would be wooden benches or cords of wood. Just remember with any open fire to make the correct safety precautions.

No party is complete without food and drink. At Jaggsfest the guests were treated to a delicious looking hog roast with all the trimmings. But for your event you can find a host of great food providers. This summer our customers have hired in catering trailers providing fish and chips, wood fired pizza ovens, steak baguettes, Indian Food and of course caters that can provide you with a traditional wedding breakfast.

It can be the little treats that make your party stand out. At Jaggsfest the organiser choose to provide the perfect treat for those with a sweet tooth.  They hired in this great stand full of pick and mix, letting their guests remember the wonders of being a child in a sweetshop.

At another event this summer we personally got to try the delights of craft rolled ice-cream. A delicious treat that can be enjoyed all through the evening. It is almost as enjoyable to watch being prepared as it tastes.

Other customers this summer have chosen to provide strawberries and cream, cupcakes ,cocktails and gin trailers.

No party is complete without music. The music for Jaggsfest was provided by a beatboxer complimented by a singer and dj. Of course your choice of music should reflect you and your occasion. Other customers have chosen live bands, djs, singers and even a harpist. No matter what type of music you choose to party to, just let your hair down and have a great time at your tipi party.

Just a quick thank you to Liz for choosing Kåtachiefs to provide her with tipi hire for Jaggsfest. And to WillSmith Photographer (find him on facebook) for taking these excellent photos that captured a great night.
